About Us
I've been in business as a self-employed handyman since 1st January 2003. I decided to go into business for myself following a period of unemployment after being made redundant from my previous job of 14 years back in March 2002. I had been in Electrical/Electronic Engineering for 30 years. I have always been interested in D.I.Y. and when I found it difficult to get another job I decided it was time for a change. Through my visits to the job centre I joined a scheme offered by Eastbourne & District Enterprise Agency who sent me on a business start-up course and mentored me during the early months of my new venture. I am pleased to say that all went well. I have now established a large regular customer base and I have many satisfied customers.
My son Paul joined me in 2009 so we are now able to take on and complete larger jobs within a shorter timeframe.
During 2010 I became a member of the Guild of Master Craftsman, giving my customers that extra peace of mind as to my level of skill and integrity and my commitment to maintaining high standards.
